Fecal testing detects common intestinal parasites and giardia. Fecal testing is recommended for all puppies and kittens at their initial wellness exam, or if your pet is experiencing chronic or bloody diarrhea.
While our website outlines some of our common laboratory services, MVS offers an even wider range of diagnostic testing to best understand your pet's health. If you have specific lab work requirements or would like to discuss additional options, please call us at 623-396-9185.
Tumor Cytology Testing
Cytology testing involves taking a small sample of your pet's lumps or bumps. You receive a detailed report from a veterinary pathologist explaining what the growth is and recommendations from our doctors on treatment.
Urine Testing
Urine testing is recommended if your pet is straining to urinate, has blood in their urine, has frequent urination, or has had a change in their urinary habits.
